Slip Mould System - Tall moulding box (20cms)

We have designed our modular Slip Mould System (SMS) to make casting quality plaster slip moulds for cups and mugs easy and quick. This SMS tall moulding box is perfect for taller mugs and measures Ø22cms by 20cms tall. 

• Modular - the master forms are interchangeable with the moulding box (sold separately) for cups and mugs.

• Designed to provide a uniform ~5cm wall thickness of the slip mould form (depending upon the master form).

• A range of master forms currently available, with more designs coming soon.

• Our designs incorporate a slip well with a flat top for easy emptying and piece removal. 

• A Blank Master plate available to reproduce your favourite cup or small bowl.

• Precision design - our mould sections have our special locating system which means a perfect secure fit and leak free!

• Light and strong, quick and easy to connect with office type spring clips.

• Made from sustainably resourced PLA (non-toxic, food safe and bio degradable).

Our collection of superior quality clay tools are purposefully designed for all clay users, from the novice and hobbyist to the full blown ceramicist. Our in-house designer can boast decades of experience in engineering design and manufacturing, ensuring strong and durable tools. We constantly add new designs to our catalogue, thanks in part to the owner frequently asking for new things to play with….

Tested:

We design and test everything in our own studio first, including making the clay pieces from the clay tools. We like to be sure that they work as intended, and that you’ll enjoy the creativity that they bring.

Materials:

We use sustainably sourced PLA (unless stated otherwise) which we use in our state of the art 3D printers. This has many advantages, being non-toxic, food safe and bio degradable. It also means that we can keep the costs down and can ensure the highest quality of everything we manufacture.

Customisable:

Thanks to modern design and manufacturing, making custom tools is simpler and cheaper than ever. We can create unique and custom tools, make them smaller or larger, add your branding, add your name, multi-coloured – just ask us what you want and we will discuss it with you.
